  • A website redesign involves refreshing your existing Squarespace website’s design, structure, and functionality. We will work with you to create a more modern, user-friendly site that better reflects your current brand and goals. If you have design ideas you’ll be able to share them with us!

  • We take SEO into account when redesigning your site to ensure that any updates or changes won’t negatively impact your rankings. We can also optimize your site further during the redesign.

  • A Design Day is a block of time during which we focus on making updates and improvements to your Squarespace site.

    In one Design Day, we can update pages, add new content, refine design elements, tweak layouts, and more. It’s perfect for ongoing website maintenance or small changes.

    Note: We can’t design without your content! You’ll need to have any new content (like text, images, etc.) ready for us before the Design Day.

  • No, we do not offer copy writing services. Good copy can be a game changer and we won’t pretend we’re experts!

    If you choose to write your own website copy, that is totally fine - you know your business and customers better than anyone! We can assist with minor tweaks and changes based on our experience and we may make changes (with your approval) to ensure engaging and SEO-friendly content is captured on your site.

  • Absolutely! Whether you’re looking to refresh your website’s look, improve its functionality, or completely redesign it from the ground up, we’re here to help. We’ll work closely with you to understand your website needs.

  • Of course! As part of handover, we provide an hour of Q&A + training on basic website updates and content management (image and text updates, adding new pages, changing colours etc.). We also have a ‘how to’ document we provide just in case you need a refresher later.

  • The timeline for a new website is dependent on the size and scope of the project, as well as how quickly we receive your feedback. We generally estimate the following to design, develop and launch a new website: 

    • One page website: 1 - 2 weeks

    • Custom website build: 2 - 3 weeks

    The timeline estimate is from the date that all website design files are provided to us.

  • We chose to specialise in Squarespace websites as it is suitable for most small to medium businesses.

    We can assist you in setting up your site and provide the necessary training at handover, so that you’ll be able to easily and confidently manage your new website on your own.

  • When you book your project with us, we agree on a project timeline including a project start date and a due date for providing your design files. Design files must be provided to us by the due date otherwise we won’t be able to start your project on the agreed start date. You will need to provide:

    • Your Brand Identity: Logos, colour schemes, fonts, and any other brand guidelines you want us to follow.

    • Content: All the text for website pages or sections (homepage, about us, services, product descriptions, blog posts, or anything else your site will feature).

    • Images and Media: High-quality images, videos, or any other media that represents your business.

    • Site Structure: An outline of the pages you want (like "Home," "About Us," "Contact," etc.), plus any special features or functionality you need (like forms, e-commerce, or galleries).

    • Goals: What do you want your website to achieve? This could be generating leads, selling products, showcasing your portfolio, or anything else.

    We provide you with a space to easily upload or share all your design files with us and have a design questionnaire ready to go so that you can let us know what your site needs. We’re here to guide you through the process, so if you're unsure about anything, don’t worry—we’ll help you every step of the way!

  • You must have all website content (imagery and text) ready for us by our agreed due date. We book our projects a few weeks in advance so if we have new clients wating for their project to start we may not be able to push your project back and will need to reschedule for the next gap in our design calendar.

    This may result in you being charged a design restart fee ($100).

  • Our process involves an initial consultation to understand your needs, followed by providing a client agreement detailing scope of work and project timeline. Once we have your design files on hand, we begin the design & development work, keeping you updated and involved throughout.

  • There are two calls we usually need to make:

    1. Initial Consultation - after we receive your enquiry 

    2. Design Kick-Off - discuss your design files & questionnaire responses prior to project start date

    Outside of this, we typically communicate via email, you can expect a response to your email within 2 business days of us receiving it.

  • Yes! After the work is completed and full payment has been received, you will have full ownership of your site and own the rights to the design.

  • Any additional costs will be discussed upfront during the consultation and clearly outlined in your client agreement. Custom features may involve extra charges depending on complexity.

  • All our custom and redesign projects follows a similar payment schedule:

    • 25% of project cost is payable as a booking deposit (this is non-refundable) 

    • 50% of project cost is payable at the midpoint of the project

    • final 25% of project is payable prior to transfer of site ownership

  • Our pricing varies depending on the service you require and the scope of your project. We offer transparent pricing for all our services, please refer to the service page you are interested in to see our starting fees.

  • Yes, additional costs you should be aware of include:

    • Design files and resources such as fonts, stock photos, and icons, are not included in the project price. If you require these, they need to be paid for by you and provided to us before the project starts. 

    • Squarespace hosting and domain fees are not included in the project price - these are the ongoing costs associated with having a website and we will discuss your options with you during consultation. 

    • If you require any third party apps, integrations or tools, the cost associated with these is not included in the project price
